Tehran Boosts Military Readiness
A spokesperson for the Iranian military, Brigadier General Akrami Nia, confirmed that Tehran is continuing to bolster its defense capabilities and update its strategic targeting databases. The announcement serves as a direct warning to nations supporting US sanctions against Iran, signaling that the transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz could be severely hampered in the coming period.
Addressing the ongoing Iran war tensions, the military official stated that Iran's armed forces have demonstrated resilience in recent combat encounters. Akrami Nia claimed that the adversary was ultimately forced to seek a ceasefire after failing to fracture Iran's domestic resolve. However, the military official maintained that Tehran does not trust current ceasefire agreements, noting that work remains underway to improve combat readiness across all sectors.
Aerial and Maritime Operations
Providing details on military activities, the spokesperson revealed that the Iranian air force conducted several sorties since the onset of the conflict. He asserted that Iranian fighter jets successfully approached American bases in Kuwait, Qatar, and Erbil before returning to their home bases safely. Regarding the maritime situation, the official dismissed claims of a blockade against Iran as propaganda, asserting that international trade flows normally.
Akrami Nia further claimed that Iranian forces have effectively restricted the movement of Israeli-linked vessels in the region, including the seizure of some ships. He concluded by asserting that external pressures have failed to weaken the Iranian political system, suggesting that such challenges have instead fostered greater national unity.
