Pilgrimage Preparations Underway
Iranian pilgrims are set to begin arriving in Saudi Arabia via land border crossings this Sunday as part of the preparations for the upcoming Hajj season. Officials have coordinated logistics to ensure a smooth transition for those traveling by road to the holy sites.
According to the Iranian news agency, Akbar Rezaei, the deputy for Hajj and Umrah affairs, confirmed that approximately 30,000 pilgrims from Iran are expected to travel to the Kingdom this year to perform their religious rites.
The announcement follows statements from Abdolfattah Nawab, the representative of the Iranian leader for Hajj affairs. Nawab noted that the delegation's departure is being carried out under specific guidance. He emphasized that the religious mission remains a priority for the organization, even as the nation observes a period of mourning for its recently deceased leadership.
While religious travel continues, geopolitical tensions in the region remain a subject of international concern. For comprehensive coverage and the latest developments regarding ongoing regional tensions, visit our dedicated page: Iran Us War Live updates
