Early Salary Disbursement Confirmed

The Egyptian Ministry of Finance has officially announced that the disbursement of salaries for April 2026 will be brought forward. Payments are now scheduled to begin on April 19, instead of the original date of April 24. This decision aims to support state administrative employees by providing timely access to their financial entitlements ahead of upcoming religious and social holidays.

Salary Structure and Upcoming Adjustments

Employees will receive their salaries based on the current pay scale, as no new increases are scheduled for this month. The government has clarified that the anticipated salary increase for state personnel will be implemented starting in July 2026. This adjustment is part of broader state efforts to align wages with living costs and enhance the financial stability of the workforce.

Payment Methods for Employees

To ensure a smooth transition and reduce congestion at payment points, the Ministry has provided multiple channels for employees to access their funds. Government staff can receive their payments through bank ATMs, local bank branches, mobile electronic wallets, and the Egypt Post offices. Additionally, the 'Meeza' card remains a primary tool for those seeking efficient and secure financial services across the country.

The current monthly salary structure remains as follows:

  • Excellent Grade: 13,800 EGP
  • High Grade: 11,800 EGP
  • General Manager: 10,300 EGP
  • First Grade: 9,800 EGP
